This portrait was painted for the Nebraska Republican Party to be auctioned as a fundraiser. Mark enjoyed painting the flag and thinks the POTUS looks quite nice too.

Bill & Marci’s House

Bill commissioned Mark’s first architectural project as a birthday gift for his wife Marci. This house is very special to them both and especially to Marci. It hangs proudly inside their home.

Tonya commissioned a portrait of her beautiful ragdoll cat, Roscoe, for herself. Roscoe has vibrant blue eyes that are highlighted by a bright blue background.

’57 Chevy Barn Find

Mark donated this to Chariots 4 Hope, a non-profit that helps people acquire transportation. The premise of this work is the excitement of opening a barn door to find a dusty, well-preserved classic. 

The Easter Boog

Bellatrix, the cat, is the subject of Mark’s humorous portrait. She did not like wearing hats, but she looks adorable in them.

Jack and Rocky

Commissioned by Lori for her friend. This is her son and beloved dog celebrating their friendship. The two friends traveled to the UK together which inspired the Union Jack on the pillow. Jack loves Arsenal (the soccer team) which inspired the colors of the geometric background.

Mark donated this piece to Chariots 4 Hope, a non-profit that helps people gain transportation.

Kathy commissioned a portrait of her husband’s dog, Spurgeon, for is birthday. This was Mark’s very first commission.

A larger portrait for Mark, Stephanie’s Trio measures 24 by 18 inches, allowing room for details and space. 

Love in Miami

Commisioned by Will as an anniversary gift for his girlfriend, Love in Miami, shows the couple kissing in front of an iconic Miami landmark. Will said, “When I gave it to her she didn’t care about the other gifts and she didn’t stop kissing me for hours.”

The Legend of Boog

A play on the video game The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Bellatrix (Boog) and Greyson are dressed like game characters Zelda and Link.

Sunflowers and Bible

Mark’s first and favorite still life to date. Sunflowers and Bible explores light and shadow and reflections. It hangs proudly in the home of Mrs. Robbins.

Christmas in the Desert

Originally a desert-scape, Mark acquired this piece and repainted it to with the Christmas theme. Additions to the composition include: Santa’s sleigh, reindeer, and Christmas lights on the Sonoran cacti.
